In November 2010, the Know Your Flood Risk campaign (KYFR) ran their first National Flood Risk Awareness Week. This made a huge impact, with press coverage reaching nearly 30 million people, interviews being aired on over 140 radio stations, an MP reception attended by over 60 MPs and much more.
