Join us on Stand 20 at one of this year’s key geospatial trade exhibitions and find out whats new for Envirocheck in 2012.
GEO - 12 event is completely free to attend, attracts up to 40 exhibitors each year and delivers a packed programme of free seminars, live product demos and great networking opportunities, including a Gala Evening of good food and fun.
Date: 21st & 22nd March 2012
Venue: The Holiday Inn, Elstree, London, WD6 5PU.
Seminar Programme (tbc):
BIM - Building Information Modelling
BIM is very much a current buzz topic , driven by government requirements for all public sector contracts of £10m or over to be undertaken using BIM by 2011. A panel of experts from different fields - consultancy, users, constructors and technology suppliers – come together to explain just what BIM is all about.
Managing change: opportunities and threats
Individuals as well as organisations face the most challenging business environment for decades. The seminar will explore how new skills, technologies and systems can help prepare us for the rest of this decade. Topics to be covered: crowd sourcing data, cloud computing, software as a service and the issues that these raise like scalability, reliability, privacy and provenance.
The Point Cloud Clinic
A team of industry experts assemble to help you get the best out of laser-scanned point cloud data so that you can quickly create useful deliverables. Questions and problems positively encouraged!
Other topics, streams and speakers
The above are only the start. The organisers are also actively planning sessions on the latest accuracy reports on GNSS; Buried services tracing and mapping; new tools for survey in the air and on the water like small UAVs; HDR photography as an alternative or supplement to laser scanning; and more.
The expectation is that two separate seminar streams will run over the two days with one focusing on Geomatics and the other with a GIS/GI oriented theme.
The Geo – 12 event is the perfect platform to showcase Envirocheck Export, our fast and flexible approach to digital data. Offering a comprehensive range of current and historical mapping, planning applications, constraints data, local plans and aerial photography from a variety of sources, Envirocheck Export means users no longer need to digitalise features of interest by hand and requirements are met with the convenience of a single portal.
