Envirocheck, the market leading desk study service is now available for international sites outside Great Britain, providing you with a convenient, cost-effective alternative to manual data collection. Envirocheck International supplies a fast, accurate screening assessment for sites in mainland Europe as well as more detailed reports for EU and non-EU countries including the Middle East, Africa, Russia, Far East, Australasia, Latin America and North America (via Landmark’s sister company EDR).

Product Information
The Envirocheck International Screening Report and Full Data Pack are available to order by completing an electronic order form which is submitted via email. The Envirocheck EU Screening Report will be delivered by email within 2 working days and the Full Data Pack for EU and non-EU countries will be delivered by email within 15 working days of receipt of the confirmed order form.
For all Full Data Pack enquiries, Landmark will provide a quote in advance of order confirmation. This variable pricing model is necessary due to differences in data availability for countries outside Great Britain. -

Envirocheck EU Screening Report
A unique, rapid and consistent assessment of receptor information across mainland Europe. Key sources include: NAVTEQ, The European Commission and Regional and Local Governments. Key data includes:
- Current Land Use (infrastructure, points of interest etc)
- Ecological Risk Analysis
- Environmental Liability Directive (ELD) Analysis
- Surface Water Features
- Industrial Emission Sources (European Pollutant Emissions Register)
- Population Analysis
- Designated Protected Areas (Special Areas of Conservation (SAC), Nature reserves, Special Protected Areas (SPA) etc.)
Envirocheck Full Data Pack (EU)
This includes all of the mapping and data available in the EU Screening Report with the following additional information:
- Historical maps/ aerial photography
- Current maps/ aerial photography
- Geological data/ Boreholes
- Water Abstractions
- Soil and groundwater quality
- Flood mapping (JBA consulting)
- Planning
- Statutory Information (Central/ Local Government registers/ permits etc.)
Mapping and data availability varies by site location.
Envirocheck Full Data Pack (Rest of the World)
Outside of Europe, the rapid collection and evaluation of environmental data can be challenging due to a lack of pre-existing electronic databases. Landmark has established a network of local, in-country contacts, who can rapidly source, obtain and collate information on your behalf.
The type of information that may be available includes:- Historical maps
- Aerial photography
- Geological information which may include groundwater vulnerability, seismicity, mining and ground stability conditions.
- Flood Risk Mapping
- Public register information associated with the presence of nearby industry and sources of third-party land pollution
- The location and status of Critical Natural Habitats and/or Protected Areas which may include, but not be limited to, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, National Parks and National Forests.
- Special Protection Areas.
